Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
I was born and raised in Fairfax, but currently a student at UNC Wilmington. Yeah I know, just hear me out. When teams come to Trask we heckle. Nothing derogatory, just funny things that we may have found out about players through the news, facebook, or what have you.

Everyone agrees that Mason handles heckling the best. Period. Georgia State tried to shut us up by having a dunk-off during warm-ups, Hofstra pretending they didnít hear us, Towson blushed, and VCU got hostile. But Mason almost seemed to like it. Lamar Butler joked back at the crowd and even came over to the student section to give some kid a hand-slap.

So Iím not surprised at how loose Mason is in the tournament, because theyíve been that way the whole year.

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I thought to myself: Mason is probably going to sell out almost every home game next year.

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
More applications, lower acceptance rate, higher academic reputation. Congrats Pats.
