Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
The win over Ucon--honestly, I don't care much about sports, but it was hard to ignore the underdog drama

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I had a gig playing in a band during the uconn game, at the Cherry blossom festival at the Jefferson Memorial. So I couldn't watch the game. But the keyboard player kept getting text message updates from his kids, who were at the actual game. Then the lead singer would announce the score to the crowd. I watched the other games a little, and it seems like Mason has a very well coached, very balanced, very disciplined team that's earned the wins rather than getting lucky

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
It seems kind of obvious, but it will probably work to build community among Mason students, who are especially ethnically diverse and who are kind of scattered.
