Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
The win over UConn

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I attended Mason last year as a freshman. I went to basketball games, was a Mason ambassador and loved GMU. I had to transfer due to a change of my major and now attend a New York state school south of Rochester. The Patriot's run through the tournament brought back a lot of memories and gave me a lot of Mason pride. My father mailed all my Mason gear (shirts, spirit squad beads, foam finger, etc), and I covered my dorm room door in newspaper clippings about the Kryptonite Kids. I infected my dorm with Mason fever and we made events out of watching the games.

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
This means a lot for Mason. Now, when I tell people I studied at George Mason University, they know what I'm talking about. It's going to bring a lot of attention to the school and help Mason become the great school it's destined to become.
