Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
Final buzzer of the Connecticut game

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I am an Alumni of the MPA program in '03. I currently live in the country of Lebanon working for an NGO. My wife is also an alum of GMU with a master's of Education. At the time our baby was 9 months old and was not sleeping through the night. I was up one evening with her when I turned on the TV to Orbit ESPN. Wouldn't you know it, it was halftime of the Connecticut game. Mason was losing by 9 and I figured it wasn't likely to change. I was wide awake though and kept watching. It turned out to be the best half of basketball I've ever seen. So at least one former student was watching at 4 AM in the Middle East, thanks to a baby that would not go to sleep.

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
Great chance to build pride in the school.
