Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
The Final Four weekend. It was the best experience we have ever had.

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
My wife and I (both alumni) were in Orlando for Spring Training when the tournament started. We didn't get to see the selection show, but we were excited to see that Mason did make it to the Big Dance. We were forced to watch the first game in a sports bar at Disney's Wide World of Sports (where the Braves train). The place wasn't packed, but there was one couple there from Michigan. The man had his Spartan shirt on and we had our Mason shirts. During half-time, he came over to our table and, after asking where George Mason was, said we had a pretty good team. He wished us luck in the second half. With about 2 minutes left, he came back to our table to congratulate us on a great victory. Others in the place started talking about how good Mason looked. We were proud to have our shirts on and represent GMU Alumni!

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
Hopefully, this will mean more players from high school will look at Mason as a quality program under Coach L. and come here. Then we will have more great seasons to look forward and more runs in the tournament.
