Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
Standing in the Verizon in complete disbelief when Denham Brown missed the shot at the Buzzer.

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I graduated in 2000. I've seen the complete development of the program from bottom feeder to the present. I haven't suffered like many of the older alums, but knowing and seeing where we came from makes this so much sweeter... The most unbelieveable part of the whole thing for me was being at the Verizon Center against UCONN in the second half and seeing the arena in green and gold going absolutely nuts and turning to my friend, also a 2000 alum, to say "Can you believe this?? Remember when we were 2 of like 1000 people at the Patriot Center 10 years ago." Simply unreal

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
It's hard to explain. We're officially on the map now for athletics and otherwise. The benefits should be great all-around. Increased exposure = increased applications, donations, support, ticket sales, etc. which = increased revenue for the school. Just positive in every way.
