Story Text

What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
The first two tournament wins in Dayton Ohio

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I took a call from a friend a few days after we beat Witchita State in The Bracket Buster Game where he offered me tickets to the Verizon center NCAA games. I told him I would love to go but I was going to travel to see Mason if they made it that far. He laughed and hung up. It was great to wave to him in the seats behind me as we celebrated the UConn victory one week later!

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
After watching 23 years of Mason B-ball and getting to travel to all of the NCAA games this year, I really think we will be mentioned and remembered by the entire country every March. With the strong recruiting class coming in and a conference that will now be noticed we should be able to get a good home schedule like we did when the Patriot Center opened in '85-'86.
