What single moment stands out to you the most from the 2005-06 season?
When Conn missed the final shot in overtime and I knew we were going to the Final Four!!!

Tell about your experiences during the Kryptonite Kids' magical run through the tournament:
I was watching the mich State game at Glory Days with a fellow Alum and my wonderful nine year old daughter,we couldn't believe we won without Tony. The place went into a chant of GMU!!! My family watched the UNC game on TV sceaming and yelling. After the game I went outside our house and a neighbor was walking her dog while wearing a GMU shirt. She saw me with my GMU shirt and we talked about what a great game it was. I went to the Verizon Center for the next two games. I can't explain how proud I was to see all the Mason fans there !! We were so loud and I enjoyed watching the UCONN cheerleaders looking up at us because we were so loud !!!. LIVING ON A PRAYER !!!!. I was sitting next to a donor and after the Wichita State game I saw Coach "L"s wife Liz hugging friends in my semi nose bleed section. The donor said to me "who's that" and I send it was the coaches wife. He couldn't believe it and I said to him yes it was and that you wouldn't see Calhouns or another big time coaches wife this far up in the stands. For the Final Four my family and I drove after the kids got out of school on Friday for 10 hours getting in the early hours Saturday. While driving up the road we ran into several other cars decked out in Mason stuff. Flashing our lights at each other and yelling out the window GO MASON !!! Even though we lost in the Final Four our game was the best and we represented ourselves well. The students, Alums, players, faculty, staff, coaching staff all represented great!!!!

What do you think this moment means for George Mason University?
As a 1986 Grad/Alum I have been watching Mason games through my college days at the P.E. Building and at the dedication of the Patriot Center in 1986. I have been a season ticket holder for years. I am constantly telling my friends/family who graduated from larger baskeball programs about how they never play us in our building or even at all. Georgetown has never played us since we almost beat them in 1986 and I don't belive GW or UVA or VA tech has played us. Maryland only played us at their place or in the NCAA tourney first round (almost beating them) .I kept telling them that the bigger schools need to play us in OUR BUILDING to see what happens. This ride has put MASON and the other "mid" majors on a par with the bigger schools and has opened the door to even the playing field. I can't explain how proud I am of the team and the university. I only hope that the excitement and support from the students, alum and the community continues through the good and the bad times. We have come a LONG WAY since the CAA tournamnet when we barely beat Georgia State in overtime and then lost to Hofstra LETS KEEP THE SUPPORT GOING !!!!!
